Report Overview All Servers

An overview of all registered servers. The report can be exported as Word, Excel, PDF, HTML, CSV, Image and XML

Purpose

The overview can be used to get a full list of all servers in your monitoring environment.

Report

Columns

server name

Is the name of the server entered in the server registration screen. This is the display name of the server and not used for connecting to the server.

ip address

The DNS name or IP address entered in the server registration screen. This is being used to connect to the actual server. e.g. 10.52.0.71,1433

port

The port entered in the server registration screen. This port is used for establishing a connection to the server. e.g. 10.52.0.71,1433

is replication

true

Server is detected to be part of a replication architecture (either distributor, subscriber or publisher).

Server is not part of a replication architecture.

is ha

true

Server is detected to be part of an high available architecture (Availability groups, Clustering).

false

Server is not part of an high availability architecture.

is ag

true

Server is detected to be part of an Availability group.

Server is not part of an Availability group.

Report navigation

If a report contains more pages, you can click on the right and left icons to move forward or backwards in the pages.

Report Export

Every report can be exported to any of these favourite formats. Choosing any option will provide you with an automatically downloaded file:

Best Practices

Run this report when you want to receive an up-to-date overview of your servers. Export it to excel to do further manipulations.

Remarks

When you click on the reports menu this is the first report that is automatically opened.

Permissions

If you are able to see the menu item Reporting then you are allowed to run this report.
